Whilst searching for things on the net it seems that different search engines come up with different results. I mostly use google but sometimes i find things quicker through Yahoo!

Is there a better search place than these? what does everyone use?

I find that google can give too many results, making it difficult to wade through all the crap. It must be easier to get a site listed with them. I use Yahoo, who wouldn’t give a free listing to their own grannies.

is yahoo searches not powered by google? i am sure a while back when i used yahoo this was the legal bit, some place round the search area. with that in mind i just started to only use google as it was coming from them anyway. i think many engines are powered by google but obviously there must be restrictions and different reasons for the results as they are different in many ways. 🙄
ive just contradicted myself there havent i? 🙄 :lol1:
