Mimaki all the way, been using the cjv130 and faultless and perfect fast prints, even at worst speed 2 pass on banners.

Also this is for sale now, 1370mm print and cut with full front and rear dryers and raster link 5 for £6k +vat Ono

I have had Roland printers since 2003 (SP540V 2003 – 2010) and a VS540 (2010 to date) and have never had a problem with them.

Quality of the VS even in bilboard mode for banners is very good. All other profile seem are excellent. I have always used OEM inks.

As I have had a good experience with Roland products over the years, I personally will be looking to get a SOLJET PRO4 XR-640 as my next machine.

As I have had experience only of Roland machines, I cannot give a comparitve view, however I would tend to go with something I have experience with unless there is compelling reasons not to.

    +1 for mimaki

We have a CVJ30 – find it very well made – bullet proof construction, metal construction not plastic – easy to use, very efficient on ink.

Print quality is fantastic, media set up is very easy.
