I’m expecting there to be a few newbie questions, so here’s another one. Sorry to be so dim…. but

Which application paper should I get?

Got catalogues so far for Grafityp and 3M but had no idea there was so many different papers, obviously . I’m expecting to restrict myself to vehicle or window applications for the time being.

I’ve read through the boards and it seems high tac is more useful, think I’ll go for Grafityp’s TR592 Med/High tack – sounds like a bit of an all purpose paper. Am I on the right lines?

We use conform tape 4075, its a little more expensive but seems to do the trick for us, stops nice and flat, we do a lot of stickers/decals for people so makes life a little easier 🙂

We used to use generic medium tack tape but found it not sticking to the vinyl all that well, maybe it was too cheap though 😳

a good rule of thumb in app tapes is ‘you get what you pay for’

high tac is really meant for small text or small graphics with small surface area….. medium tac is for large graphics as you have a larger surface area to adhere to.

I use RTape app paper, as it is good in humid weather.
