    Hi,

Ive just recently purchased a Creation pcut630, which is working well. I only had some what seems quite thick vinyl that a friend had, so I’m looking to get some new supplies.

I’m mainly using to cut decals for my figure designs, and for some small shop window graphics. For the decals a thin matt vinyl would be good, but what would people recommend for a window design? It would be inside rather than outside.

Does anyone recommend a certain manufacturer?

    thanks

    Sam

if the vinyl is not actually for signage then most, even the cheap stuff will do.
if the vinyl is to go on glass and be viewed outside, gloss or matt finish is irrelevant, both will appear gloss from the outside through the window.

anyway… every supplier has their lower costing series of vinyls.

    Grafityp
    Cox
    Europoint Display
    Amari Plastics
    Spandex
    Andersons
    Metamark
    the list goes on….

i would suggest always buying the best you can afford. you may say its not really for signage etc today, but tomorrow you may get an order and you will just lift the cheap stuff because its there. few weeks down the line it will come back to haunt you! 😀
