  • Where to get vinyl for motocross tank

    Hi All

A customer has got an extra large moto cross/ endruance tank for his KTM bike in opaque.

He wants parts of it covered in white. He has told me about a white vinyl there is that is quite thick and has perforations in it to let the plastics breath.

It won’t need printing or anything, it is just to cover the main surfaces so that as the tank stains from the fuel inside it wont show through.

Would anyone know where to start looking for this stuff.

    Thanks Dave

It is called Convex Hi Bond 6 mil white. Not sure who stocks it in the UK, but your major distributors should be able to direct you.

    Hope that helps

The UK stockist is called PrintOne UK. If the decals are going directly onto the tank (and not onto the rad shrouds like many modern MX bikes) I think the graphics really need to be perforated? I may be wrong, but that is what I have been told before and have seen it on other bikes.
