    Hi all

I just wonder where I can get vinyl which looks exactly like a mirror.
I need to stick it on flat cut letters. (black perspex)

    Thanks

I thought most mirror films were for windows and worked on the difference in light levels either side so not sure if it would work on black flatcut letters. Why don’t you just get the letters cut in a mirror acrylic or is it to cover existing letters?

What you need to ask for is bright silver.

    Most suppliers should stock it.

Check it’s life expectancy though, if it is being used outside.

as has been said, most suppliers do it. but they vary in lifespan. most are 12-18 month life but as marcella says, some now offer a 5 year chrome. metamark and i beleive oracal have started doing it too.
my opinion is that the 5 year stuff is just laminated with clear vinyl. andrew laminated nearly 50 metres of the stuff last week using a clear vinyl. works very well…

basically the material you are after is a polyester film which is sold alongside the likes of vinyl as it used for similar purposes.
    ask for "chrome" foil/polyester film.
