not heard of any vinyl that thick mate, think the thickest Ive heard of is sand blast vinyl or a cheap paint mask vinyl. trouble with them is they only come in a few colours and i think thats depending on which supplier you buy from. i.e. white, black, or one we used to buy was like mucky rain water. :lol1:

I have been asked to cut some stencils out for a airbrush tattoo company i have look at other airbrush companys but one said that 10mm thick (now i know thats to thick)

Ah now I see,
spandex do a clear plastic, I thinks its acetate that is used in the edge for switch panels etc.
The polotter does not actualy cut through but scores it so it snaps easy.ask for a sample it may do what you want

We have a roll of the plastic from spandex, very expensive, you can use a leatherette product for this type of work I think.

i think what you want is mylar, i have laser cut it to make tattooo stencils for someone who airbrushed them (temporary tattoos) etc. However i cut it by Laser but i believe you can cut it with a cutter as well. got mine from Handover & SonsKev

Aaron, try giving Edward Mathias a ring. The guy knows pretty much all there is to know about cutting different materials on a plotter.

looks a bit like the "thinner of the two" sign magnetic panel on a roll you can buy.
you could call anchor magnets or bisbell magnets… think its about £5 a metre x 24inch wide.as kev says, i would have thought laser cut would be best. i have cut stencils from my magnetic roll using our cnc router but no use for small intricate stuff like that as the movement motion of the router shifts the panel from the vacuum bed.
