  • where can i place lettering onto this pickup?

    Posted by Jeff_Brown on 9 June 2008 at 09:40

The pick up looks like this……

As you can see. it is an unusual shape!

I want something 60’s-70’s style, advertising my airbrush work, as well as signs and vinyl.

I also have to leave room for some airbrushing…. But I do have an idea or two about that.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Jeff

That wide silver stripe is just begging to be filled with lettering!

I’m not going to offer an example though (feeling a bit shy this morning)

I like the truck (that IS a truck, right?)
I would take that silver panel and use black on it, almost like a wrought iron look.
Let’s see what your ideas are then maybe I’ll have a play.

I would avoid the clichรฉ and also copyrighted Scooby Doo motif.
I like Andy’s, altho Harry’s is quite clever.

PS Mine would only look good on the side shown.
