Hi, and many thanks in advance. Anyone know a good supplier of these brass/gold swan neck lights that go over the tops of signs and illuminate them?

    Hi there,

I last got some through City Electrical Factors, and they cost around the £30 mark. Manufacturers seem very reluctant to supply this sort of thing directly, but CEF will deal at their trade counters.

    Regards,

    David

PS. I have some tips for fitting if anyone is interested. I can post later.

Thanks Happydavid. I’m sure we must have a CEF around our way. I would be interested in any tips on fitting. Also interested to know if other signmakers fit electrical products themselves or do they use professional sparkies?

I thought I heard that there is now new legislation that requires all electrical fittings to be signed off by a pro? If there is it sounds like another way for councils to make money!?

I would suggest Portland as well – good service and turnaround.
