Working right through, might do half day on the 25th ๐
Just no let up in the work load after a very busy year and looking forward to it being the same next.
Have a great Christmas all and a very healthy happy and prosperous new year.

I’ll be closing today officially ut prob in monday am for people to collect orders only.
my first proper xmas break since I gave up being ’employed’ in 2004! can’t wait!
-
finish up on christmas eve, back in for a day or two then off till at least the 2nd :lol1:
I will be working all the way through regardless… I’ve been busier than a cucumber in a women’s prison. ๐ -
Nice Rob, going to use Monday to have a tidy round still not quite happy with how things are set up ๐ Takes a while to get things quite right I guess
-
Yeah working right through as well. Bed a decent year and no let up yet so positive for 2014
Hope everybody here has a great Christmas and New Years.
All the best Warren

Monday is the last day for the staff until Jan 2. I will be in a bit during the break to get organized, as I’m on vacation for 2 weeks in Jan. I gotta get away from this snow and cold.

Officially finished today, but in tomorrow to do some deliveries.
Be in a day or two over the holidays to do a few extra jobs.
Really only had 5 or 6 days off this year as we’ve been so busy, so in need of a proper period of down-time.
Third year working with Kamran as ‘AW Signs’ and we’ve not killed each other as the dynamic pretty much works.
Sadly many of our customers don’t believe that ‘suppliers’ are allowed time off…even the ones just back from weeks away in warmer lands.
Great to now be in a position to pick and choose who we do work for and no longer taking on any and all work to pay wages…even to the point of dropping ones throwing strops about my inability / unwillingness to work more than 12 hour days to get their low profit jobs done….bluff suitably called after they rant that they’ll go elsewhere…"see ya"…had one guy actually BEGGING with pleading, pleeeeeease and sad eyes after being given the options "money, all the money up front today and it will get done….or it won’t be. Cash is king…you pay, you join the queue otherwise don’t even look at it."
Face tripping him today when we handed back his whole ยฃ100 deposit that’s meant to motivate me into spending twice that on materials and a full day labour…

I’m only suppose to be working part time but I have quite a lot to do just now so will just work as & when I can over the holiday period.

Were closing on Sunday at 17h00……
…..But I’m likely working until Tuesday Night sometime.
Wednesday at my mom’s, and then me and the wife and kids are going on our first "holiday" in 3 years……from Thursday until Sunday ๐ฎ
I’m going "walkabout " in the Namib desert. I’m praying that I will NOT see another human being. Four delicious days of drinking beer, and exploring the oldest desert on earth with my wife and kids. And me 4×4… ๐
After that I hope the batteries will be charged for the year ahead.
I think I work to much. 14 – 16 hours per day, sometimes for up to 5 months on end 7 days a week. And then after 1 Sunday at home, it is 7 days a week again for a month or 2.
Some time ago my daughter told me "one of her teeth are loose" – Next time I saw her awake there were 4 or 5 teeth missing ๐ฎ Is it worth it??
OK, Depressed rant over! Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to you all!

I’m finishing up at Midday on Tuesday. Then I’m off until after the new year starting back on Monday 6th January. Really looking forward to a decent break (though it will be a bit of a busmans holiday as I’m planning to spend a few days wrapping my beloved Capri during the holiday) ๐
