    Hi all

I have an old steam powered Roland PNC5000 and apart from the fact
that it doesn’t print and only cuts if i’m really nice it, it works ok.

However, it doesn’t cut very narrow pieces of vinyl.

The pinch wheels will come to within 140mm but the textured rubber
sleeve around the roller is 250 mm apart.

With this as is, I end up with a lot of wastage

    Oh hum What to do?

dont cut the bit off put the big sheet back in and position your new cut to be on the area of saved vinyl.
as i remember both pinch rollers will move and is why the knerled area is odly spaced so you can find a area to suit down to about 75mm cut 00 is 15 mm in from the right hand roller

    Thanks Chris

The pinch roller on the right only has about 25mm of knurled sleeve
    so it can’t move far.

The closest I can get the rollers together is 240mm.

I am saving all good sized waste for the day I can afford a newer cutter.

    Thanks
