Ceri, With Static Cling films you can either use cad cut vinyl, print or screen print.
What method is best will probably be down to quantity. For short runs then printing with either eco or solvent inks would work fine but with large quantities then screen printing will work out a lot cheaper.
With short runs and maybe one or two colours then cad cut vinyl is another option.

    Hi Martin ,

Thanks , one of these days i shall have to get my boss to find me a signage course , this is all for inhouse stuff, as the boss feels that the last sign co he used turned him over.

so muggings here got stitched up

    Thanks

Martin, You forgot to mention thermal printing! I only mention this as it is on of the main reasons we still run our gerber edge, reverse printing clear static cling and then backing up with white or chrome. We do dozens of these for small chains of shops for their temporary signage.

Colin, no I didn’t forget thermal printing !!

To be honest I wasn’t sure if you could use a thermal printer because of the heat so I didn’t mention it. Mind you I have no idea why not as plenty of vinyl goes through them 😳
