  • whats the best method of printing onto roller blinds?

Ive been approached by a friend of mine who runs a blind making shop about printing onto roller blinds. Basically he wants to do all the work on the blind side and just give me the material to print onto then return it to him.

Now, im always looking to expand and as I dont currently have a large format printer I was wondering what people would reccomend for this task and prices involved so I can see if its worth my while. It sounds like a request that he is regularly asked so it could be a decent little sideline for me.

    Thanks

I make these all the time. mod-edit

I use a 54" Cadet running full solvent.
Works admirably on various fabrics…even double sided.

Two ways of approaching it – print onto a NEARLY completed blind – so left with edges unprinted, or full print – cut when done – much harder for the blinds guy.

Do an advanced search for ‘printed blinds’ and me as the author – will spit up a load of related posts.
