Neil Churchman Member 25 October 2006 at 07:45 To paint brushed stainless steel you need to apply an etch primer to metal that’s degreased with meth’s and slightly warm (not cold). After the primer has dried, check adhesion by sticking masking tape to the surface and ripping off. If the primer doesn’t come off you’ve proved the primer has bonded successfully, then you’re ready to spray your next colour or base primer. Log In to Reply Log in to reply.
