what tools do you use and why?
This may sound a silly question but!
What does everyone use for cutting, trimming etc?
Do you all use a scalpel for everything?
Does everyone use a pair of tweezers for weeding?
Cutting magnetic panel, foamex or is it just self preference. I want to start to get things right from the word go. I am always popping into B&Q for this and that.“All the time” it is costing me a fortune. Is there a method to this?
What goes a long way or is it just a case of buy buy buy when you need…
Would love to hear what you all use and where to get it?Thank you in advance for any replies. :ball:

Hi Sally,
I use an olfa silver knife for most things.Weeding is done with a pair of tweezers and a knife. Magnetic sheet…I use an olfa knife and partially cut through, this way you can bend along the cut which breaks the magnetic sheet, and get a really clean line without having to put too much pressure on the cut.
There are two places in the world that I can’t walk into without spending beaucoup bucks…Hardware stores and Stationery stores…I’m a sucker for these.

whatever tool you decide to use, always use them with care, the scalpel is very very sharp, I should know, I went to work the other day trimming some vinyl and used a thin metal ruler as a cutting guide, the scalpel slipped and trimmed the tip of my finger off :doh: , so TAKE CARE!!
