Hi every one, what software do i need to make Corel Draw X3 work with my craft robo. I see it uses files with the extension GSD and and the free Design Master software that came with it uses GRA extension. I want to use Corel as i am used to it, i use it with Drawings for digitizing my embroidery designs.

we had a craft robo a few years ago for testing for UKSB.
from memory, and my memory is bad… :lol1: we just loaded the software and it was good to go. however, i do not know if it was being cut via our signlab software. if so i geuss it would just be the driver it needed which the software disk that comes with it would have provided. signlab is a dedicated cutting software so that maybe the case… anyway… just thought ide mention it and that drivers can be downloaded via the graphtec website.

as far as i know its the driver system as other graphtecs which runs out of corel as a printer driver or using the plugin cutting master.

You can’t cut directly from Corel onto the robo.

You need to export as a dxf file or a jpg then import into the robo software as they don’t have a drive for it as far as we can find our. Sign tools is the most common corel add-on for cutting, but they don’t have a robo driver either..

The print and cut is not always successful as it loses the quality of print.

My wife had all sorts of issues with Corel X3, so purchased ‘funtime’ software and has never looked back. Does everything Corel does, (if you know corel, you find funtime very easy to use) and is designed to work with the Robo seamlessly.

    Hope that helps.
