    Hi,
I have a 500mm x 9000mm sign to fit which will be in 3 x 3000mm dibond panels in a pantrim frame. What size rebate would you use between the panels?
    Any help much appreciated

I never rebate my dibond…what’s the point?

A strip of ‘spare’ material on the rear to join them together with VHB tape works for me. Then, if flood coated – ensure the vinyl is wrapped ROUND the edge or a small strip is added to conceal any minor gap.

I’ve only used rebates on acrylic…and really only for lightboxes to stop light from shining through.

I see your point Dave don’t really know why i do it! I just like the way it interlocks. Its going to be black dibond so no need to floodcoat. Just need to add some vinyl text and maybe some brushed ali stand offs.

    I will second that
but use spring inserts in the edges to keep the panels together.
