    Hello,
i have been asked to make a small simple 600mm x 400mm sign to go onto a brick wall outside the back door of an office with company name on etc.

I was going to attach with one screw in each corner and white screw caps to match board.

I would have liked to have made something really fancy instead but customer of course wants it cheap as possible.

So should i make it out of white foamex or white aluminium composite board.

The composite board seams to be more expensive from my supplier and i have loads of foamex offcuts i could make it out of.

But will their be a problem with foamex expanding etc? Or at this size will it not matter too much.

I know it’s an embarrassingly simple question, but i just want to get it right.

    Many thanks

    Liam

There’s no question really if the punter wants a cheap job.
    Foam pvc.
Just make the holes a bit oversize and don’t tighten fully [use screw caps].

Ok it’s being made out of foamex.

If it goes wrong i’ll blame you! 😉

I really just wanted one person to say foamex wasn’t doomed to fail, so thank you very much for your advice.
