What printer for number plates – recommendations please
We have been using Oki printers for years for number plates but our current one needs replacing. What are others using ?

Don’t make them any more but used to use the Roland on clear as the sandwich

when we did the plastic type we used a citizen thermal

When I had the demo from Tennetts the rep said the printer had special firmware, I think it was really just a setting in the normal printer for thick transparencies.
It would be interesting to know as I need to start looking into a new laser printer as my Xerox has started messing up and it would be good to get one that can do the plate prints.Steve
