  • What print media gives a good result at a cheap price?

    HI!
I’ve done a couple of carwraps and I’m starting to get the feel for it now.
I use Avery’s MPI 1004 Easy Apply together with the DOL 1030. Even though they are extremely good materials to work with, they do cost a lot!
I was wondering what you guys use out there that gives you a good result as well as cheaper prices?

Nothing else I have come across has the reposition ability of the EZ RS.

If you want a cheaper yet good vinyl you really can’t go past the Arlon 6000X. It’s bubble free has good tack and you can push it a bit. The adhesive is tacky though so I wouldn’t know how you’d go applying a 5 metre panel horizontally down a car.

    Have you tried Oracal’s 3951 or Mactac’s?

I tried mactacs when I did my training course. The only thing I didn’t like about it was at the time the bubble free leaves like an impression on the print side making the print look abit matt cause it isn’t totally flat. Apart from that it applied fine. Seeing I don’t use it I don’t know whats it priced so can’t make a comparison.

    Haven’t tried the Oracal.
