What price an Eaymount EM-1580SH?
Hi all i have been looking today at the above laminator. I did notice a slight cut about 3" long and a blades width, in the top roller about 3/4 of the way along the roll. I could feel a slight lump when i rubbed over the area. Do you think this would greatly effect the quality of the lamination also, My questions are what sort of price do these go for, most sites i have looked at require you to fill in forms and apply for a price. I also want to know if it is an easy thing to replace the top roller. what sort of cost do you think we are talking. I believe its been used regularly but unsure of age. I have over the weekend to come up with a price but just thought all you people out there could give me some advice, thanks in advance jean

Possibly, my top roller has marks from mounting on to board, but it doesn’t show when laminating.
I have accidentally fed a scalpel handle through it, that was clear as day in the laminate. It has got better, and not visible now.
I had a price to replace rollers on our old machine… We opted to buy a new one.

We have a very fine indentation on ours, it does leave visible marks. They do push out but tend to leave a couple of miniature bubbles.
New rollers will be around £600 each, top roller is quite easy to change!

I wish we’d gone for a hot laminator with hindsight…
