hi everyone. just a quickie. iv recently done a wrap on a citroen c2. i have wrapped the roof using avery easy apply 2004 but around the ariel its started to lift. i was just wondering what methods people have on covering a whole roof in vinyl. Its solid white, so just need to do that. any ideas on material or ways in which i could do this. thanks in advance 🙂

did you remove the aerial before wrapping?
if not, did you degrease around it properly?
aerials, indicators etc seem to get a bit of residue build up around them. ide expect its because they will catch all the crap from the roads as these objects impeded the vehicles aerodynamics. so, if the initial tack/bond isn’t 100% there is access for the grime to get under the film.

I find removing car aerials one of the hardest things on earth to do 😮 😕 😉

they don’t "have" to be removed warren. as i mentioned, you can just make sure it is completely clean around it.
you can easily remove the wire section of the aerial by turning it. however, I’ve found that on "some" vehicles, the rubber base part basically unscrews also. but be careful as some have a loose connecting bolt which can/could fall inside, making fixing the areal back in place very difficult.
at the end of the day, if your worried about the base bracket, just leave and it and fit around it, but make sure its spotless clean and that you have heated it once applied to make sure the vinyl is up to full tack around it.
