  • What material should I use?

Hi everyone. Its been a long time since I posted on here, its good to still see familiar faces.

I’ve have been asked to put a full colour picture on the side panel of a Hyundi iload van, very deep panels!! I thought the old Spinter panels were deep! I cant upload a picture as it exceeds the file size.

What material would you recommend? Would you use an air release film?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would go for a 3m IJ380 if you want to make sure those recessed don’t cause you an issue.

I presuming this is a digital printed wrap

    Thanks James

Oh yes it’s a full printed wrap. It’s quite a big job for me as I tend to only do part wraps. I normally use Metamark MD7 but I find it to be very ‘grabby’ I shall google the 3M film. Many thanks

IJ380. Bear in mind it is not an easy film to fi,t so if you’ve not fitted it before have a practice first.

    Thanks Jon

I shall bear that in mind. I take it that it is grabby also?

    Definitely 3M IJ380.
If the recesses are very deep you might consider some 3M primer in the corners as well, as the adhesive will get very thin there
