Try foamex or rigid pvc (10mm)

    Or correx 10MM fluted

I use fluted board, like estate agents use. If you get the 10mm thick stuff, it is as rigid as timber. About 20 squids for an 8′ x 4′. Most sheet material suppliers should stock it. Amari, Europoint etc. It is called Correx, but there are probably other names for it as well.

i would use correx..you would only need 6mm, if they are to tie to railings or fences 😀

Correx (we call it Coroplast) is the way to go.
The thinner stuff accepts wire step stakes.
You can also hammer grommets into it to fasten it with wire-ties.
Comes in colors, is cheap, and vinyl sticks to it great.
But just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean you have to charge too cheap.

I think the 10mm only comes in white, but yes, it is ready to apply graphics to. The thinner stuff comes in a small range of colours. You can always flood coat it with vinyl if you want to change the colour. Rob did a demo on this a while back. It’s in the demo section, I reckon.

Rob, the foam-x link you’ve given is for the display board type stuff, not foamex, I think.

Do you two take turns on the computer, or do you have seperate ones? It’s like bleedin’ tweedle dum and tweedle dee with you. I reckon Peter puts on a wig and pretends to be Lynn and you are really one person. I’ve never seen the two of you together…….where was Lynn at the sign show? I expect to see you BOTH there next year.
