  • what is the difference with Colorcamm resin & wax?

    Anyone know the difference and how to tell? I have brought a pc600 and I’m unsure if it resin or wax to set it up thanks kel

    as long as the ribbon is in the correct cart the machine knows the difference by the bar code on the cart.

    I wondered what the difference was? And colorchoice is asking me which one?

    as you are using colourchoice you must have a pc600 and i don’t know the resin bar code no for that.
    wax ribbons are for paper normally prints well on to most vinyls and are not very robust and fade unless laminated.

    resin ribbons are more expensive and are outdoor compatible can be laminated for extra resilience.

    wax black is coded "0" and are normally marked ALPS or CITIZEN
