    Hi Chaps…

I have been asked to price up some construction vehicles (4 diggers and 4 dumpers)

Now the big problem is, what is the best vinyl to use as these will be knocked about and abused…

    Any help please ..

    Thanks in advance

any good 5-7 year calender or a cast vinyl will do the job.
regardless of vinyl type, if these machines take a knock "they take a knock" a thin skin of vinyl isn’t going to withstand anything.

all that said, the actual vinyl companies like CAT, Hyundai etc use is much thicker than the likes of an every day sign maker would use. however, its going to be the every day sign maker you are competing against, so use a good life/brand of vinyl and you will be fine. from experience the folk owning these machines aren’t willing to pay much either.. so they do get what they pay for.
these machines always hold the cold due to how thick the steel is. be sure to bake the vinyl after application to help adhesion particularly as the temps drop just now.
