What do you prefer – Modular or Custom Made?
Me and my colleagues are debating this for quite a long time. Which signage solution is better and in what instances?

What I meant is: Do you prefer working with modular sign systems (combining pre made parts for fater and more uniform design) or with custom made system (Tailor made solutions per sign, more time consuming, more expansive but also more unique).

We construct where possible but I guess its down to costs

I would say "horses for courses".
In some instances a modular sign system would be appropriate. In other instances a different type of sign would be required. It all depends on the situation , customers requirements and so on. You can’t really make a direct comparison. It’s a bit like saying what’s better – salt or pepper?
