Hi guys, I hope I’ve made my post in the appropriate forum.

I’m sure you’ve heard about escalator handrail advertising, where the handrails of an escalator are "wrapped" with adhesive film, advertising different products.

I’ve been researching a bit more about this application and so far I’ve found that you need a specific applicator kind of machine to do the job, which is patented by the companies offering the service.

So as far as I know, if you want to get in the business, you either have to buy a license (for example from escalated.com.au) , or design and make your own applicator or method of application.

So my questions are: do any of you have any experience with this form of advertising?, what do you think about it? and what do you think is the best way to get into the business?

Thank you all and I look forward on reading your answers.

PS. By the way I’m not advertising in any way the site I posted above, it’s just one of the first companies I’ve found that offers the service.
