    What cutting plotter to buy ?

    Hi guys,

    first question since joining the boards. At the moment I am trying to source a cutting plotter that is capable of cutting sandblast rubber mask. I realise that most of you are cutting vinyl, however I will only be cutting vinyl on the odd occasion.

    I am looking at 2 plotters at the moment
    – Jaguar 11 ( JG 610)
    – Omega plotter (Newstar OM -60)
    Question: is anyone using either of these cutters ? Is anyone out there cutting sandblast rubber mask ? If so what machine are you using

    Most cutters will cut sandblast with the correct blade 60 degree, but if you’re gonna be cutting it on a regular basis, then a good quality machine such as one of Graphtecs FC range would be reccommended.
