  • what colour of text would suit this aluminium sign?

Posted by Stephen Ingham on 24 April 2007 at 15:05

Hi all, am in the process of designing a sign for a doctors surgery, although the sign is nothing special, just text they have decided to have the board, which is brushed aluminium with no flood coating and then they asked me what the best colour would be to have the text…

    Any ideas or opinions??

    cheers

i would stay with black if its an informative sign, as the background will give the sign enough ‘punch’

example below of one i did on brushed silver, had cut out logo applied as well to give a little more depth.

I agree. Also, a very dark blue might look nice. The sort of blue that is almost indistinguishable from black. Midnight, I think it’s usually referred to as.
