  • what are peoples views on the summa d610s please?

    hi all i 2 of the above have been offered to me
    any views advice as i have 3 plotters but may be of help to some of you,
    there on stands and quite big well used and need testing
    i have a d60 which is white these are bigger and black in colour

    any one know i would think there a few years old

    any info please

    i think Phil uses or has an older D610, or whatever it’s called ! he’s the man to ask i guess

    Hugh’s right. This sounds like the machine I use which is a Summagraphics D610. (D stands for Dragknife – there’s also Tangential knife version which is the T610) These are black in colour and comes with a stand. Mine is ten years old and has been very durable and reliable. I would certainly buy another. They don’t make them in this size anymore – the nearest to it is the 750 which is the same machine only slightly wider.     just any ideas on a price
    thanks all
    i cant work out why the casing is so big look very well made
    and if its any thing like my d60 the tracking is spot on

    hello richard,
    the summa sign pro are a very good machine, if the badge on the left hand side is green the machine will be at least 6 years old, if it is yellow it will be 6 years or newer,
    i would say it is worth depending on condition between £400 to £900, hope this is of help

    alan thanks mate i think i will take them they do look well used as i said but i think with a good clean up and new cutting strip then there be fine
    i think untill i have got the dust off them and started them up is hard to say they have not been used for 3 years as the shop they were in packed up
    do you know why there such a big plotter for a 610 ???
