    Hi

Can anyone tell me the best adhesive to use for sticking locator’s onto Foamex PVC sheet, the signs are only going to be used internally.

    Cheers

I use Bondmaster F246 though I don’t know what the other guys use

Their website gives you details of different adhesives for different substrates

I think these guys are the same as permabond

If the locators are the plastic ones, you can use pipeweld adhesive. The stuff used to glue pvc plumbing pipes. DIY shops stock it.

Super glue, make sure you sand the backs of the locators and a patch on the foamex,
    They don’t come off

Tried Tensol in the past and found it melts the foam, I know it works on acrylic fine, I will try some of the products mentioned and see how we get on.

    Thanks for all your help!

    Hi all,
As big G said the plumbers adhesive works fine.
The majority of sign companies will probably be using a similar glue that goes under names such as Durapipe or Plusbond.
    Tensol 70 would also work.
Amari would supply the above, the plumbers pipe glue can obtained from any merchants.

    Cheers
