  • Weld Issue In Corel

Posted by Paul Humble on 29 September 2008 at 13:10

Ive posted this here because I cant attach the file in the Corel part of the forum.

Does anyone know how to make the Combat Forum text in the attached file part of the whole image rather than just sitting ontop. Ive welded the background already but cant work out how to include the text. The cutter is just cutting right through it at the minute.

    Thanks in advance.

No Chris, what im after is for the Combat Forum to be inside the graphic. At the minute Corel is still seeing the graphic behind the lettering and as a result its cutting over the letters. I thought it would just be a case of welding the whole graphic but thats not the case.

    D’oh!!!

Thats perfect Chris, thanks so much. Dont suppose I could be cheeky and ask how to do it?

The guy wants alot of similar designs doing so this will be something I should know.

wood – trees – who said that

when you want to take a shape out of a object its TRIM.
but that one would not untill its all on one layer and the main shape, to be removed, was contoured a little and separated before, triming.

i kept the bit i trimed out so you can add a inline if you want
