i never have a problem with correx waste…as i get my sheets cut to size for the job im doing from supplier…..get the odd two or three off-cuts which are really handy for a one off quick sign now and then 😉 never heard of the bean bag industry recycling in scotland 😀

take each and every off-cut and cut into a square/rectangle and try rounding it down/up to a set size to form a bulk/pile of same sizes.

now grab all your crap off cuts of vinyl you have in bags etc

now, Waite til the day/hour comes you find staff standing doing nothing….

tell them to run:
20 no smoking signs
mind the step signs
beware of dog signs
safety protection must be used at all times signs
get the idea? 😀

now apply all those scrap waste vinyls to that scrap waste correx
and site them all in shelf’s in your reception area.
next time someone is sitting in reception waiting on a sign… watch them say,
"oh, stick this onto my invoice too" as they hand you a pile of your scrap? 😉 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

We don’t have much waste ….. we would if Steve had his way :lol1: … It usually goes like this ….. Steve puts waste in bin, I get waste out of bin and find it a new home, week later we use what was waste on a job ….. Steve will then say …. It was a good job HE kept that bit. 🙄 :lol1: I don’t like throwing anything away in the workshop …. home different matter … I’m a binaholic in the house.

I also have not heard about the recycling of correx for bean bag filling?

Don’t really have much waste substrate….just vinyl offcuts.
I generate boxes of the stuff!!

Sometimes it gets made into ‘boy racer’ stickers (100’s of ’em) and punted onto a local seller for silly money…or I’ve donated to a local school as ‘sticky back plastic’…or found a new home elswhere when I’ve been spurred on into a tidying frenzy!!

I save almost every bit of Coro.
Like Robert says, it can come in handy.
I have had farmers stop by and ask for the scraps so that they can make their OWN signs!
Sorry…unless they are giving me seeds so that I can grow my own food!
I like to use Coro (clean of course) when taking a snack to a party…prettier colors than an old cookie sheet.
