    Sounds like a faulty printer… might be worth having a printer expert take a look at it.

    getting an engineer out is not really an option the call out fee plus time would out weigh the value of the printer.

    I use to be in the computer repairs biz… and when ever I had a large printer , printing too much of one colour… it was one of two things.

    The board that controls the ink is shot or there’s a fault with the ink/ink flow.

    In most cases, it was just cheaper to buy new and put the old one on eBay as spares or repairs to gain back a bit of the cash…
