  • VW Caddy wing mirrors – advice/tips required please?

Hi all, New here and to wrapping. Hopefully looking to do a bit on the side and maybe take it further. But i’m after some advice if possible.
I’ve done a few bits so far (interior trims, stripes, bonnet and roof) but a friend has asked me to do his wing mirrors on his caddy van. Its the black edition so they are painted black – he wants carbon fibre.

I have a caddy van myself for my other job so have worked out how to get the covers off which makes it easier and played with some black i’ve got. So far i’m quite happy with how i got mine, just they obviously need to be done in more than one piece. There was a line on my ones (plastic type) and i used knifeless tape to cut along this line. Has anyone else done these, any tips? Also with the joins is it possible to match the carbon fibre pattern so it looks seamless – the angle looks a pig to try and match the pattern. Or does matching the pattern not matter?
    Any tips would be appreciated.
Ive added some pics of where i am at the moment

    Thanks
    Dan
