Morning peeps. Ive just printed, laminated, and cut a 4 metre sheet of graphics for a van. Thing is the bleeding thing has run out by nearly an inch at its worst part. Ive set up as I normally do and checked over everything for obvious reasons but im struggling to see anything physical. I used all the pinch rollers, and lined up perfectly straight. Does anybody have experience of this? Not looking forward to the bosses reaction!

4m is quite long for a Print and Cut.

Was it 1 big graphic or a number of them?

If i’m cutting something thats very long i tend to turn the speed right down to a crawl especially if its reflective material or expensive vinyl…would rather wait a couple of mins for the cut than get it wrong.

It was a lot of cut text and some long stripes but it ran out almost immediately so I stopped it, reset everything and resent and it cut out again, but stayed within my bleed. When it came to the long stripes however it all went pete tong. Lots of swearing happened.

out of interest what cutting pressure are you using.

as said slow the machine down and also the up speed. it goes out of alignment because of the drag of cutting and jerky movements, pleased to hear you used all the pinch rollers.

Hi Chris, I was using 120gf and had the speed at 30cm/s. Next time Icut something Il reduce the speed.

pressure not to heavy good. speed i would use 200mm /sec both cut and up speed.
if the knife is sticking out too far from the holder can cause slight snagging in the tight corners, watch the vinyl it has to stay perfectly flat on the bed if you see it buckle slightly then it will start to go off.

I think 4 metres is way too long to stay accurate if going backwards and forwards. I wouldn’t attempt anything that long.
