  • vp-540 canvas printing – non uniform colouring on photos?

I am trying to print photos onto metamark canvas but finding that I am getting ununiform lighter sections within the print. Difficult to explain but a faded section in directing of printhead in parts of print. I have tried various print settings but finding it very frustrating. Only getting this on raster images, vector print colours are fine! help

Is the canvas lying perfectly flat during printing?

Load up the image into photoshop and check the areas where the colour is uneven using the eyedropper tool. There may actually be a variation in the colour that’s hard to see.

For example a white area may look white on screen and in the rip but may contain up to 4% black or other colours without it being obvious until it comes out of the printer.
