    Vinyl cutting problems…help!~

    When I cut anything that requires the plotter to come within say 1/4″ of a previous cut the vinyl wants to come up and ride along with the blade.

    Is this a pressure issue or simply maybe a dull blade? Or the vinyl (new 651 Oracal)

    Cuts perfectly otherwise.

    I’m no expert but I had a problem similar to this while trying to cut small stuff that had cut lines to close together. It was due mainly to me not slowing the plotter speed down a bit. Once I had reduced the speed of the plotter things were fine.
