i wont harp on about wet v’s dry again, but it is a fact that dry is the superior method of application. once the vinyl is in position, thats were all the advantages of applying wet stop, and disadvantages start.
applying wet is done purely to "aid the applicator" it is not recommended as method of application by the manufacturers.
at the end of the day you must use whet ever method it takes to get the job doen 100% correct, we have to make a living at the end of the day…
but for me, ide still body-swerve doing it wet,
maybe try the new air release adhesive systems now available in etch vinyl.
p.s. applying wet in cold weather on cold glass will add to your problems.
if you must apply wet, use rapid tack.
