Quicktime works fine with other streams and i never had this problem in wmp! Any ideas? I get the icon and it looks like its buffering but nothing happens.

It was quite jerky and goes blocky for me at times. I put this down to the wireless connection I’m suffering with at the mo

Mike, don’t know if it will make any difference but have you tried updating quicktime, they are up to version 7. something now so updating may help, it shouldn’t be a problem with your firewall if you use quicktime for other things on the net.

ah, thats why… they are encoded to around 500kbit and sometimes pushes a 512Kb/sec connection. The video will get choppy and sometimes buffer out, if you getting blocks and parts then thats to do with connection speed or you live somewhere like Australia
