versaworks cannot connect to server problem?
Hi Guys,
as in title, I am getting this message? If i hit online help it wont launch, i cant seem to get it to update itself? If i load jobs it spools them starts to print and fails? Anyone had this before is there any easy fix or is it a unistall and re install? I am on version 4.6.0?? All ip addresses are present and correct, and if i hit verify button, all the printer data comes up, so they are talking to each other?any help appreciated

Hi Dan,
Instead of trying to update through the application, try launching the "online update" program from the start menu, under versaworks.
I think theres something to do with the permissions on windows 7 (you know the old "a program is trying to access the internet" message) If I launch the update through the program it doesnt work but works fine the other way.

@ kev, internet connection is fine! Thats why i am puzzled!!
@andy trying that now, thanks didnt know about that function! It wont let me update the program, only the colour profiles. Fingers crossed as it is updating those now it will find itself.

Just checked my virus software firewall and for some reason it had turned off inbound and outbound connections for versaworks, and that was stopping it connecting and printing! just turned them back on and now its downloading updates and I can print again.
