    Hi guys,
can anyone let me know of any potential problems of having 2 computers with versaworks installed both sending to one printer? I presume they print across the network with different job queues? Can versaworks handle this? trying to get the windows 7 64 bit working properly!

    thanks guys

I’m not sure, Versaworks must communicate with the print server in the printer and I presume the print server would sort it out as would a print server in a desktop printer like an Epson laser.

I presume your wanting to have 2 computers to RIP & print at similar times so the printer will finish one print and then get on with the other print.

Ask Roland, it only works with their printers so I don’t think they’ll have any problems with it and I presume they’ll have been asked this in the past so will know.

We have VersaWorks running on 3 machines to 1 printer and it works fine. We’ve never tried printing from one machine and then sending something from the other at the same time.

Come on Dan, your now our Guinea pig!

Be interesting to know if it’ll do it though, just need a small file and some waste vinyl, print from one and then a few seconds later print from the other.
