  • Versacamm SP300 stalled after printing

I’m using SL9 with Visual Production Manager (XP Pro) and sent a print/cut job to the SP300. It finished printing a 3m run, wound back to the start ready to do the contour cutting and just stopped.
Looking at VPM it still says printing – 80% done and I can’t access the job (hourglass). I did a smaller version no problem but this 3 metre run seems to have a problem. It was set to print then cut straight away.
In Windows Task Manager it shows VPM as not responding and under "processes" PSQueue.exe as 50% processor use.
I’ve now shut down VPM and re-sent the job and selected cut only.
Luckily I hadn’t moved the print from its origin so the contour cutting still lined up. Got to do a second one and would like to know why this happened.
    Any ideas?

    Peter
there is normally a maximum print & cut length, don’t know about the software you are using. Versaworks accepts the file, prints it but then wont cut it.

Pleased to say I’ve done the 2nd run OK.
Only difference was I turned off Kaspersky protection as when I start a print job it flashes up that it has allowed PSQueue.exe and my thought was that as the queue progressed to cutting Kaspersky may put a slight hold on it whilst checking, and cause it to stall.
