I had a similar issue where I could see lines down the print from where the rollers had been. I gave them a quick clean and seemed to fix the problem.

thanks for the reply david! what did you clean them with alcohol, water?

I actually used the cleaning solution for the heads. However I am sure Meths or similar would suffice. I wouldn’t fancy putting water near my printer :lol1:
Mine was on a VersaArt, not Versa Cam but can’t see it being a problem.

I’ve always used IPA (Isopropynol alcohol) for cleaning pinch rollers, going right back to my laser printer repairing days.
Also check that the heater temps haven’t changed and that the media is stored in a place with a reasonable ambient temperature overnight. A lot of media/heat related problems aren’t necessarily due to the amount of heat you use but the sudden change of temperature. Apparently it deforms the adhesive or some nonsense like that… 🙄
Good luck

thanks guys! tried alcohol first and that didnt work and then i got out the solvent ink cleaner that we use for servicing the machine and it has worked a treat! Did a quick clean as we had all the gunk out and it is now working perfectly again!
thanks for all your help guys, much appreciated!
