Thanks for you comments.
Nik, that T does look a bit far from the A. We didn’t alter the kerning at all and wonder if it is just a parallax error because of the angle the photo was taken at. Will have a look next time we go past there. Maybe we need to market ourselves as bonnet wrapping specialists :lol1:
I know what you mean by the big flourescent stuff Rob, I’ve got a photo somewhere of a huge ‘SALE NOW ON’ in fluorescent orange we did at this same place about a year ago. We did a couple of demo vans the same day in huge black and red bold text. Still it helps pay the bills, but doesn’t stretch the creative side of the brain.
Sorry Dave, not sure what you mean. Had another look at the picture in case I’d left a roll of masking tape, squeegee or anything else for that matter in the well at the bottom of the windscreen or on the wipers as I so often do.

hi paul, yeah i know what you mean and if they ask for big bold letters they get them. what i was more angling at is, we see this day to day, but I’m not so much talking just about this, more to the ones we see that are ridiculously sized, stretched, covered in bubble, creases and wrinkles through the middle. :lol1:
i was in a place a few weeks ago. an interior showroom VW convertible had text on the windscreen. big text, very very badly fitted… when the rep dealing with me spoke to me i said by the way that’s not done very well is it… he just shrugged and said, yeah i said to the bloke but they are only on for a month or two max…
i wouldn’t care if it was 1 day, ide still want it fitted right if i was paying.
we all have our bad days/jobs but i feel that no matter how small a bubble or even a little crease i would and do get pulled up for it. so i make damn sure i do my best every job. however, i see so many badly fitted signs, vinyls etc i just don’t know how other firms get away with it.
that’s why when i saw yours its a cut above the rest you would see mate, both well fitted and a bit of thought behind it… -
quote Robert Lambie:but i feel that no matter how small a bubble or even a little crease i would and do get pulled up for it
Rob, are you saying that if a job has any bubble in it or a tiny crease you pull it off and refit? I was under the impression that minute bubbles will go away as the vinyl breathes.
