pictures speak louder than words mate.. your missus must be well pleased about the images you have done…
its all very up market from the regular painted cone and shadow work we see. nice one mate 😉
not saying anything wrong with the old… just the new makes a nice change 😀 -

Nice work 😀 It is summer here and now you have put ice cream in my head, and theshops are closed and the missus has none in the freezer 😥
Love all the work you have done, but I would have concerns about the copyrighted images on the transit. Did you get permission for this.
I do work here for warner bros, and if they know of anyone using their images without the right paperwork, it aint worth thinking about :hung:
Don’t mean to worry you, but these co’s protect copyright with a vengence. Your worst enemy will be your ice cream opposition. If they think that dobbing you in will give them an advantage, they will do it in a heart beat 🙁
Well done tho. If worse comes to worse, the file will be in the chocolate cake, but mums the word 😮

I love the ice cream van especially the windows…
How does it stand on using the Disney images..do you have to get permission??Simon

Thanks for the comments folks…
As far as the cartoons go customer has supplied the artwork…(ok so it is the Mrs!)
Have done about 20 odd vans now and never had a problem yet!! I do try to keep away from the Micky and Donald duck of Disney..
We have another new van arriving in a weeks time and we are not having any cartoons on it. It is going to be the same as the trailer, with large images.. which is better for shows. but the street vans always seem to do better with the cartoons on… The kids never remember the name just the van with Noddy on or Whinnie…
Hope there is no one from disney browsing the site or I may e in trouble!!!! 🙁
Cheers

nice job, again Ian.
As you know i have seen your vans in real life & i commented on how smart they looked then.
I didn’t actually think you could have improved on the original but you seem to have excelled yourself. Well done Ian.

Cheers LJ….
Have heard on the grapevine you may be getting a new van 😀might not be such a long slog to way off places like Ellesmere Port in the future then!!!

Hi Ian,
yes it’s no joke driving an old LDV down the motorway on a 3 hr journey, you end up tired out before you start on the job.

Thanks Carrie… They were actually made by my own fair hands.. then took a digi photo and edited out the background… Thats what I do on my weekends… Mind you never make them that big for the customers….. 😀

Ian, forgot to add on previous post:

What do you do with them after you’ve taken the piccies? Its just I offer an ice-cream cone recycling service, I’m more than happy to dispose of them immediately after they’ve been photographed :lol1:
Great job though, as has been said, roll on summer time 😀
Cheers, Dewi
