Vehicle Graphics: Pick-up and delivery service?
Does anyone, or has anyone thought about offering a pickup and delivery service for vehicles to be sign written?.
Its something i have had on my mind for a while as im based 12 miles out of town. Often vehicles are left here, man and his van and wife/relative in another motor. Its a bit of a faff for the customer and seeing as my competition is in the middle of town its definatly a minus point.
For the sake of an hour lost, could potentially bring in more work?
Could mean every dick and harry will use the service and i will be running round for everyone?
A small charge say 25 quid for the service?.

It is not a bad idea, we used to do this a long time ago when we were right in the middle of Glasgow city centre.
Customers can see the benefit in it, even with the small additional fee as it saves them time and hassles having to also wait on the vehicle.* Vehicle Pick-up & Delivery – £25
* Exterior van wash – £15
* Vehicle Graphics Installation – £00.00You are going to have to clean the vehicle anyway, so your aswell driving it through the car wash on the way back to your work and be paid for it.
Don’t look at your location is a setback., use it to upsell your services and appear more professional than the local competition.

Yes location works both ways as i get all the countryside folk. I think i will put the idea into motion :thumbsup:

You will need to be insured to drive customers vehicles. Check your policy to ensure you have comprehensive cover. If not you will need to check the customers own cover allows anyone to drive their vehicles with permission

Luckily insurance out here is for the vehicle not the owner. As long as you have permission from the owner, the vehicle is covered.

We’re insured to drive customers vehicles, not much more on our insurance for it.
We only really use it on ‘fleet’ jobs, where it’s one out, one in, speeds it up for us and the customer.
Trouble with where we are, it’s not the distance but the time, traffic is horrendous. Probably should push it some more though :thumbsup:
