Heres a set of vinyls I have just done for a friend. The local paint shop did the two main colours with the help of a vinyl mask. The van received a good reception at a VW festival recently, I think it looks cool.

    🙁 I’ve got heartburn and I haven’t touched a drink all night 🙁 Must be sympathy pains :lol1: :lol1:

Really like the VW! I’ve seen quite a few of the old VW transporters being done up recently, seems to be quite a trendy vehicle to have. There is even a club I’ve been told, which is nice. Also quite like the idea of using a vinyl mask and spray painting… saves lots of time and vinyl! Incidently, does anyone know whether you can spray over the existing paintwork without having to strip down the vehicle and all that pallava?

    Cheers, Dewi

I saw that at BVF in July (British Volkwagen Festival)
I’m a bit of a vw nut myself, got a High top camper and a Beetle.
I also help to run Volksfest Wales at Margam Park, Port Talbot. 13/14/15 August. 😀 On the saturday we have THE PORTHCAWL CRAWL, which is a 200 vehicle convoy to Porthcawl and back.

As for there being a few clubs around there are hundreds. If you go to VANFEST in Sept you will see 5000 vans all in one place, an awsome sight, and great fun to boot!

If the pic attached comes out you will get some idea what we get up too!

This must be proof indeed of extra-terrestial intelligence. They’ve given up on crop circles and all bought VW camper vans instead to announce their coming 😕

Here’s a picture of our VW the one that spawned our
    company name.

It Doesn’t look quite like this at the moment as it’s being done up

You might remember it Mike as we have been to the Wales Volksfest
    a couple of times.
