hello all thought it was about time I showed some of my work, any problem is most of my picture files are way above the limit . most are about 900kb. here’s the one left that is downloadable. just a quick job after sides of van had been resprayed, didn’t have to do the logo as they had masked it off , will post more when I take some more pics at lower resolution, Mark

Well done. Simple and to the point. I wish more jobs were like this.

Surely you have some software that will allow you to reduce the size of a photograph? Anything that exports a jpg will do.

nice work mate… instant i seen it i thought move logo to the left hand side at top… giving the angled text more room and to run corner to corner.. then i read the logo was there first… oh well, cant win them all mate.. 😀

thanks for posting your work. look forward to seeing more.

like I said just a quick simple job , I was only replacing what was there before the paint job, Andy as for reducing the picture size I am absolutly useless with the old computer but I’ll have a try, will probably be easier for me to retake the pictures, Iam more at ease with a camera (behind it not in front) Mark

Tell us what graphics software you have and I’m sure we can cobble together a tutorial on resizing pictures.

for the pics I just use microsoft picture it or I do have adobe photoshop 2 I normally just download pictures straight from camera into a file in my pictures in window’s xp, if I need to do any editing I just open picture it or photoshop and import the file I wish to use, 9 times out of 10 I’ll use picture it as it is very simple to use although very basic. Photoshop: “Save as” JPG. You should have the option to reduce image quality which will reduce file size. Alternatively, later version of Photoshop have “Save for Web” which is basically the same and gives you the option to reduce image size, whereupon it will tell you the file size that will be created.

    Hi Mark

    Nice work by the way

In Photoshop you can go to image on the tool bar at the top of the screen

    then to image size

in image size dialog box change the largest pixel dimension to 600 pixels or less

That should allow you to upload your images

    Hi Mark

You can easily resize your pictures on this website-
http://www.resize2mail.com/simply click the browse button to upload your picture then select the size you want it reducing to.

On the next page your picture is there resized, simply right click on it and save it!

    Good luck
